life into the mix, it can quickly become even more so!
Taking a much-loved family pet to the vet, getting to the hospital
whilst your partner, friend or family member is in labour, dealing with
bickering back-seat children, or loading the car up for a trip to the tip all
add an extra complication to the challenge of everyday life.
It’s these situations that show us how important a car can be; its
ability to take the rough with the smooth, to swallow mucky loads and even muckier children without complaining, and to offer a safe place in times of stress.
Rarely do we get to try out any of these difficult scenarios on a
typical test drive, meaning that when the time comes, it’s easy to feel
unprepared.

That's why we’ve launched ‘Real Life Test Drives’ – a new service that will allow you to put your most challenging driving experiences to the test while taking a new Dacia for a spin.
On Thursday 5 September 2024 at Dacia’s new London West retailer, you
can test your most challenging real-life situation that will be recreated by a cast of actors.
From dealing with kids bickering; loading awkwardly-shaped items to putting up with with a back-seat driver who always knows better. We'll be giving you the opportunity to try out a new Dacia first-hand in some of the most difficult circumstances we all face from time to time.
The full list of real-life test drives on offer are:
1. Driving with a back seat driver who thinks they know better than you
2. Driving with someone who gets badly car sick
3. Taking a friend, partner or family member to the hospital during labour
4. Driving with friends who are arguing
5. Being a designated driver and having ‘excitable’ passengers in the car on the way back from a night out

Real Life Test Drive Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to bookings made for the Dacia Real Life Test Drive event (“Event”). By making a booking, you will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions and agreed to be bound by them.
1. The Event shall take place on 5 September 2024 from 10:00am to 15:30pm at Dacia London West (1 West Cross Way, West Cross Industrial Park, Brentford, TW8 9DE) (“Promotional Period”).
2. Bookings must be made in advance between 28 August 2024, 08:00am and 2 September 2024, 17:00 (“Booking Period”). Any booking made after the Booking Period will be rejected.
3.No purchase is necessary.
4. The Event is open to drivers (“you or driver(s)”) who hold a current full valid UK or EU (including EEA) driving licence. The Driver must not have more than 6 penalty points and should not have any prior driving convictions or disqualifications. The Promoter reserves the right (in its sole discretion) to reject any driver that does not meet this criteria. Drivers must be able to provide proof of their licence upon request by the Promoter.
5. Only one booking per household or driver is permitted.
6. Bookings shall be limited to 15 and will be issued on a first come first served basis.
7. All bookings are provisional until you receive a confirmation email. In the event that you do not receive a confirmation email, your booking will not be considered confirmed or valid, and you will not be guaranteed a place at the Event.
8. During the Event, the Promoter (or its agent/actors) will act out a pre-selected real-life scenario(s) whilst on your test drive. You (and your guests) must comply with the directions of the Promoter at all times and you must not behave in a manner which may disrupt or interfere with the actors (e.g. touching the actors) or the Event.
9. The Promoter shall not be liable for:
- any postponement or cancellation of the Event, which is caused as a result of reasons beyond the Promoter’s control;
- any personal belongings left I left in the vehicle or lost or damaged during the Event;
- to the fullest extent permitted by law, any death or personal injury suffered by any person (including but not limited to the drivers or passengers of the Vehicle at the time of the Event), where such death or personal injury is caused by such person’s negligence or wilful misconduct.
10. The Event set up may differ from prior imagery seen in the press, on social media or other channels.
11. Drivers that do not comply with these terms and conditions may be refused entry or participation at the Event.
12. The Promoter reserves the right to reject individual bookings and/or withdraw this Event at any time, without reason or notice.
13. This agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
These terms and conditions are additional to any terms and conditions / indemnity forms you may be required to sign prior to your test drive on the day of the Event.
